Honestly, if you dont know then you shouldnt be signing anybody especially a minor. Which is a tricky situation even for a professional.

Well I think the best thing to do is have the parents' permission first, let them know how great this would be for the person you are wanting to sign to this recording contract, if the parents are not going to sign maybe talk to another relative but i believe the best solution is the parents, don't want to have a legal matter later. Minors can always void the contract when they turn 18... But for the time being, the parents can sign.

If a minor financially benefits from a contract he can be help accountable, but as you know a monor is not legally binded to a contract, unless he has a guardian/attorney sign with him.

Oh Gawd... Here we go again. Do yourself a favor when you do. Make sure that therapy and counseling comes equipped and is added into the contract before hand. He/She will need it.
This is a strange question because if you were in this business you would know that... If your not in this business you shouldn't even bother trying because no one in that industry will give you the time of day. Not being mean, I happen to know a few of them, so it is a fact, if not a reasonable, legitimate assumption on my part.
