They are starting to change their stances on what pregnant woman should and should not eat. Because of the many benefits of fatty acids within fish they are saying that one salmon fillet a week will not produce high enough levels of mercury to cause issues. However you may want to stick with the farm raised of course.
Read this article it's about how fatty fishes make babies smarter!
Good Luck!

YES!! Stay away from shell fish if you wanna keep your dinner. And that guy was right, food high in mecury is bad for mom and baby. Google it to see for yourself. Mecury is found in Tuna and other fishes, and it cuases ADD and ADHD, can't remeber why, but look it up. I would stick with the chicken too. Some seafoods can be ok, but check it before u do it. Proud momma of 2 here and don't wanna see u so sick that u can't enjoy the evening. I had some shrimp while pregnant was ok, but be carefull. Some sea food can cause other probs when pregers. Congrates on the new bundle o joy.

Read this:
Fish and shellfish are an important part of a healthy diet. Fish and shellfish contain high-quality protein and other essential nutrients, are low in saturated fat, and contain omega-3 fatty acids. A well-balanced diet that includes a variety of fish and shellfish can contribute to heart health and children's proper growth and development. So, women and young children in particular should include fish or shellfish in their diets due to the many nutritional benefits.
However, nearly all fish and shellfish contain traces of mercury. For most people, the risk from mercury by eating fish and shellfish is not a health concern. Yet, some fish and shellfish contain higher levels of mercury that may harm an unborn baby or young child's developing nervous system. The risks from mercury in fish and shellfish depend on the amount of fish and shellfish eaten and the levels of mercury in the fish and shellfish. Therefore, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are advising women who may become pregnant, pregnant women, nursing mothers, and young children to avoid some types of fish and eat fish and shellfish that are lower in mercury.
To help pregnant women and moms choose fish that are low in mercury, FDA and EPA have identified 5 commonly eaten fish with very low mercury levels: shrimp, salmon, pollock, catfish and canned light tuna. The FDA and EPA further advise pregnant and nursing women they can safely eat up to 12 ounces a week of these fish. The average serving size of canned tuna is 2 ounces, which gives pregnant and nursing woman many options to continue eating canned tuna.
The government advisory also tells pregnant and nursing women that they can safely eat up to 6 ounces a week of canned albacore tuna. In general, there are 2 ounces of albacore in a typical serving

Don't listen to any of these people. Enjoy yourself, order what you want. If you dont eat there more than once a month, you will be fine with whatever you are craving. My mom smoked, was a hairdresser doing perms and hair coloring when she was pregnant with me. i am fine. I hate all the scare tactics that are used today on people. Being cautious and sensible is one thing, freaking out about every little enviornmental hazard is just looney.

There is nothing on the menu you can't have. If it doesn't make you nauseated, eat all you want. They say to avoid fish HIGH in mercury, but it's not like you'll be eating that fish everyday, so really the amount you'll be ingested is so minimal that I don't think there's a big concern. Enjoy yourself...have a cheese biscuit for me please !

Anything high in Mercury. You'll have to look further into that, although I know larger fish are generally higher in mercury. Samon is definitely fine; Lobster, not positive.

I would avoid any sort of seafood. Eat COOKED meats. Go 4 the chicken. Be careful, have fun tho and relax. Eat whatever Ur tummy says it wants. After all wot u eat is wot the baby eats and unfortunately u r lead by what the baby wants.

I would settle for the chicken...Red-lobster is not "high-quality" and you can never be too safe. The cheddar bread is ok.

Ohh, I love that place...especially the shrimp alfredo!
I hear you aren't suppose to eat certain seafoods while pregnant but not sure which ones. Although i don't think every now & then would hurt. My friends ate it while they were pregnant & they had healthy babies.
