You might dress up as Hermione from Harry Potter.
Red hair goes with black, green, mauve, and some shades of orange.
You could dress up as a gangster's moll, an IRA soldier, Bodicea, the warrior woman who lead an uprising against the Britons. ( I don't really know if she was red-head, but what the hey).
Maybe dress up in reds, oranges, with some trimming of black and grey, in a costume designed to make you look like a demon or devil.

I was her one year and got lots of compliments.
Curl and tease your hair till you get the "big hair look" and get some green tights a skirt or leotard or something. I wore a green corsette with a green mini skirt and green tights with thigh high boots and I put some ivy (fake) in my hair and had one wrapping up my arm.
