HI all .. Im dating a 17 year old ..YES I sed it 17 years old .. anyway , we have sex and all its all good but the prob is , shes bleeds a bit almost EVERYTIME we have sex ..anyway , Iv sussed it out that shes on the INJECTION (Contrception) and she goes for shots every 2/3 months ..

This is thru her mothers insistence mind U ..

My question is ..

Is this alryt for her and her body to be going through such a massive treatment ...

Can her body handle it , especialy cos of the possible after effects of it ..

Isnt a condom and a morning after pill (JUST INCASE) better than going thru the whole jucing herself with shyt constantly ..

PS: She' not keen on going off the injection cos its her mothers idea ..

Women's bodies react differently to different kinds of contraception. If I were her mother I would do the same thing, bc thats the only way she can be sure she's taken care of. But that shot was really harsh for me, I had to go on the pill. Your girlfriend can talk to her OBGYN at her next appointment, and ask about the Nuvaring. That goes in once a week, and it can be between her and doctor, her mother doesn't have to know. Just MAKE SURE she is taking it. I don't know how old you are, but at 17 its hard to know all that you're getting into, and she could take it for granted the chances she has of getting pregnant. It's not dangerous for her to bleed, but tell her to talk to her GYN at her next appt.

the morning after pill is good but can fail depending on the interveal between the sex and ingestion. iftaken after 72 hours then you chancesto be pregnant are greater but if taken with 24 to 42 hours the your chancesare very small about she bleeding afterevery sexwhy dont you see a family health adviser or the doctor

I was on the shot for 4 year and I loved it! But I never bled like you are talking about. She should ask her doctor about it. The only thing about the shot that I didn't like is, after a year of marriage I wanted to get off because we wanted to conceive but I didn't have a regular period for 4 months! But since she is only 17 its probably a good thing.

She needs to be checked out by her doctor. She is showing possible signs of HPV, which is quite common among younger women.

If she keeps taking the shots she'll never be able to have kids.
