How you look depends a little on which decade you want to emulate. When I hear the word pinup I always think back to the Second World War (40s) and postwar 50s (before my time, needless to say!) and those almost cheesy bathing suit photos of film stars like Betty Grable. Or it reminds me of Marilyn Monroe (60s?) on that classic Playboy magazine cover.
So, check out Christina Aguilera"s "new" (retro) look! Try massive pin curls framing your face (or in your fringe/ bangs -- they used to be called). If your hair is long (shoulder length), you can do big, fairly tight curls around the bottom. If it's shorter, keep the curls in front and pull the rest up and back in a sort of French twist. Make-up: you can't get away from fire engine red lipstick, applied as thick and luscious as possible (gloss over it makes it look even fuller); pencil thin eyebrows (for heaven's sake, don't pluck them! They'll take forever to grow back in. But if you have pale eyebrows you can go over them with brown or dark brown eyebrow pencil, or over accentuate darker brows with black pencil); false eyelashes loaded with mascara and a definite dark eyeliner line above for sure, below is perhaps optional! In any case, your make-up should be exaggerated, almost theatrical.
I think you've come up with a clever, unusual and creative idea!
Congratulations and have loads of fun on Hallowe'en!

I was this last year .... i just wore my hair in curls with a flower pinning back one side. If your hair isnt curly you could do half up with a little poof
For makeup i had red lipstick, black liquid liner with a little on the edge sort of cat like. i used a neutral eyeshadow , the eyliner should be the most prominent on eye, fake eyelashes loads of mascara, and a neutral blush.
I got my inpiration from Americas Next Top Model last year.... they dont have the pics anymore but i looked on the internet and found this link
http://www.fairygothmother.com/americas_Next_top_model_in_corsets.htm
it may help out some

Liquid black line on the top only. Line slightly out of the lid catlike. No eyeshadow, soft barely there blush, and red lips. Deep red lips. Lots of mascara. Curl your hair under all the way around and maybe put a hair net in and secure it with pins. Very sexy.

makeup - pancake makeup. check online to find a vendor in your area. RED RED RED lipstick! you may have to buy a few different tubes to find one that stays super red on you. liquid black eyeliner.
for the hair - a double french twist was pretty popular, not real easy to do, but if you have someone do it for you it's a lot easier. i was able to do it myself, but it took like 1/2 hour to do.
Vargas was probably the most famous pinup girl artist, look at his works for inspiration: http://www.wurli.com/wurli/ArtGallery/vargas.htm
