My friend was driving me home this morning and we swirved off the road, we ended up skimming a fence and then when she tried to get back on the road she over turned the wheel and went across the road. We finally stopped, and not like a jolting stop either. But i'm worried that something might have happened to the baby. There wasn't any big jerky moves or anything, but I'm worrying myself to death it could of hurt the baby. Should I be worried?

I think you should get checked out. You may not feel any symptoms of anythng being wrong, but you should still talk to your Dr. just to make sure everything is fine with you and your baby.
Good luck & God bless

I have been in 3 car accidents while pregnant (crazy huh? hazards of commuting in traffic I suppose). Two of them I was rear ended, and the other I was in the passenger side of the car doing the rear ending. One time I went to the hospital and was monitored for a few hours. All 3 times were fine and resulted in nothing negative. More than likely nothing has happened, especially since it was not a serious accident.
Call your dr, because even if they tell you to just take it easy for the next few days it is a good thing for them to know and keep in your chart.

Everything is probably fine. Just go to your doctor and get checked out. I doubt there is a problem with the baby, but you'll feel better. The worrying isn't good for you and your doctor would rather you come be checked and there be nothing wrong than there be a problem and ignore it.

If you are worried then you should call you doctor and they will schedule an ultasound to check the baby out. It is better to be safe than sorry. There is no harm in checking to put your mind at ease. Otherwise you will just worry more and that can effect the baby's health too.

You should be checked, but you 'd be surprised by how protected the baby is inside of you, and how many jolts a baby can take before it's hurt. Plus, haven't you ever heard that babies bounce? (not saying that cause I tried this, lol, I'd never do that to one of my own, but was on baby documentaries I've watched before)

Okay will that baby is surrounded it fluid and cushion it would take like a blunt force to hurt that belly .....But with all the WORRYING and STRESSING you can hurt your baby and make you have high blood pressure now that is not good at all for the baby...Your fine, just schedule an appt with ur doc or go up to the er and get u and the baby checked.............okay..........:)

Yes, you should go to the doctor and be checked and tell him what happened. Maybe, you could call him first and ask if you should come in but I would not take any chances with my baby's life. Good luck to you and your baby.

If you're that concerned you need to contact your doctor or go to your local emergency room. How far along are you? Do you feel anything that's different? Are you spotting or leaking fluid? Is anything at all diferent?
