As an employer, I wouldn't fall for it. That resume wouldn't get the slightest consideration. By the way, I'm in America. You may be able to "buy 'em" from America, but that doesn't mean they are any good. Even here, all you would get is a piece of paper.

Most good employers are aware of this and would not be so stupid. If you couldn't do your job you would make a fool of yourself and maybe you could be dangerous! How would you feel about going to an unqualified dentist or doctor, or legal adviser for help?

No, and you could get fired if they believe you and find out later!
Just start a course, a lot of jobs will still take you on the basis you are studying for the qualification and then if you can't hack it, show them how great you are at the job and then tell them the course wasn't for you. If your good at job they wont care!

If they don't check, they will fall for it, IF the fake degree cert is a good one. Beware however that should you get the job on the strength of your degree, you could be charged with passing a false instrument, and various deception offences....

Surely if it was important to the job, they would check on it, or at least make sure it was from a reputable institution.

No body has EVER asked to see proof of any of the credential I have on my CV.
Remember, if you get to the interview, they have already decided you can do the job. You just have to sell yourself........
