It got out country involved in a war with North Korea because of the North invading South Korea.

The 38th parallel is the dividing line even today, and we still have troops in South Korea to continue to prevent any hostile actions from the North Koreans.

In that war, we were fighting North Korean, and Chinese Soldiers.

North Korea is an extremely poor country, in resources, industrial, and food production.

When a country has all those hardships, it tends to breed the need for a war, to conquer another country (South Korea) and that explains the Nuclear Test that just occurred.

They have just shot off their own foot, because sanctions being considered would possibly cut off any aid they are now receiving. North Korea is a country to be watched carefully and perhaps feared from the standpoint of using nuclear power as a threat to the free world, and that is exactly what they did with their test.
We were supposed to bow down and kiss their a - - and meet their demands, but it did not work out that way.

End of briefing on the North Korean issue.

Good question.
