There was a video with three African-American females. The lead singer was singing into an old-fashoined looking microphone, and the design of the performance space was ornate.

The song was very catchy. I heard it and saw the video at Roscoe's and InnExile but I cannot remember the song title or the artist. It's an awesome song though. I'm not sure if I should describe it as R&B or Pop, because both labels would fit. I imagine that it came out in 2005. I could have sworn that it was called "That Thing," but nothing has matched on any of the many searches that I did.
