Does anyone out there remember back when wrestling was real? at least more so than today - like back in the days of THE VONERICHS - BRUSIER BRODY - HARLEY RACE - DUSTY RHODES - TITO SANTANA - JIMMY "SUPER FLY" SNUKA ? Don't get me wrong - I know that the guys today work really hard to do what they do BUT doesn't anyone other than me miss the old days? I grew up in Dallas with all of the Vonerich boys and was body slammed on a weekly basis and I know what those boys could do they were some of the best as a matter of fact that's where Taker got started - he was working in Dallas with them and going by MEAN MARK CALLOWAY - at least there is still one of the boys left and I can still talk to him and remember the GOOD OLD DAYS!!!!!

AH YES the GOod ole days,

i'm showing my age here a bit, but i can remember a lil bit of the past. I remember growing up and turning on the t.v. watching wrestling and I could remember waiting for my favorite tag team to watch , The Fabolous Freebirds. Classic battles with the legendary Von Erichs. Kerry, Kevin, Mike, etc.. Ric Flair Fought Kerry Von Erich all across the world and each and everynight they wrestled they put on a heck of a show. Dusty Rhodes and Harley Race had some of the best and most intense fueds i've ever seen. Although all acting of course, they sold the story line and made it much more believable than these story lines today. And yes I can remember Mean Mark Calloway, with the vest and jeans and his trademark "heart punch" finisher He was and probably will always be one of the most agile big mens in wrestling today. Lets not foget those who hardly ever get mentioned like the Gagnes Vern and Eric. The Hennings Curt and Larry, The Funk Brothers Dory and Terry. Mr Areba! Tito Santana. The living legend Larry Zybisko. Those guys and many more made wrestling what is today, I wish that the current wrestlers today take a page out of the legends book and learn how to sell wrestling more, make it a little more credible and do away with all the junk story lines and gimmick. How many times did u see someone with a costume get a big push. not taking away from those who wear them and they're athletic ability, but using this as just an example, do away with the gimmicks use your pure talents and put on a good show. The Good Ole days

I do remember the good ol' days. I got introduced to WWF in 87' or 88',my first match i remember seeing was Piper and Snuka in a leather strap match and I was amazed at what them guys were doing. The Von erichs are a hell of a wrestling family. I wish them guys didnt take their lives and continued with the business. I cant recall their matches but I do remember Kerry and Curt Henning going at it for the I.C. belt. Giod rest both of them talented gladiators.

when wrestling was real, the matches were way to long and people got bored of them.so thats how it became fake, although not all of its fake, how do you train your self to fall of a twenty ft ladder and through tables? good luck
