It's not an herb, but baking soda is very effective. It will cure the stomach ache instantly.
Mix one teaspoon of baking soda with 4 to 5 oz of water. Stir well and then drink it. The baking soda neutralizes the acid in your stomach. In less than one minute, you'll start burping and then miraculously, the stomach ache will disappear.
Hope that helps.

herbs there a plenty. prescribing is quite a specific task for each individual so without telling us any of your symptoms it is quite hard to know what path to take. Also buffering the stomach acid with sodium will only be detrimental in the long term, yes it is a band aid treatment, and yes it works. However what they don't tell you is that the production of you pancreatic enzymes is dependent on the level of acidity of you stomach acid, which leads to insufficient levels being produced, also a low PH in the gut kills many harm full bacteria. If you constantly buffer the hydrochloric acid you will allow many opportunistic bacteria to permeate the integrity of the gut wall (like helicobactorpilori). As for herbs try fennel (herb of choice, and it tastes good), chamomile, goldenseal, peppermint, calendula, and all bitters will help with the overall digestive process

The situation of your belly discomfort (wherein within the belly field) could be very telling, nonetheless two well belly settlers are Ginger (like from a Sushi eating place or pills) or Peppermint Tea. If that is some thing within the belly field you may also wish to take a look at Triphala. Hope this is helping.

Mint is excellent for your tummy. Make some mint tea, cool (maybe have it with ice), and sip it slowly.
