i reciently hooked a new 90+ natural gas furnace to an existing well. the pressure started at 40 + lbs, but falls to under 10. i was told if i scrub or Blow off the well my volume would increase

Find a engineer before you do anything.
Play it safe, not dumb.

Here were I live there are many gas wells. If you are lucky enough to have a well on your property you get free heat. In your case I wonder if the well is spent (run out).

Are you kidding, I never heard of connecting a furnace to a personal gas well- where the hell do you live- I am thinking of connecting to my Septic tank and use methane, lol
