im a married man and I play with my ring constantly, its just a habit. I never wore a ring before I got married

it's just a "nervous" habit that the person has picked up...but if the person takes off their ring that they usually play with and don't put it back on immediately just wait a little while, the person will start playing with that finger that the ring is normally on and when they realize they haven't put the ring back on, they "freak out" a little and go and put the ring back on. just habit.
