Cannot be determined by the paucity of data you show.

I understand you are seeking validation for your feelings of moral superiority over everybody else, but you'll get nonesuch from me.

Not only are morals subjective, but one must also look at the whole of the person's actions - not just pick and chose one or two things to base a judgement of higher morals.

The atheist who opposes death penalty and abortion. If you are going to call yourself pro-life then be pro-life even for the life of criminals who don't deserve it. Many catholics are against the death penalty because it takes away a life but you see other christians happy to impose the death penalty. There are no morals in the christian conservative base.

See here, Alfred, cut with the trick questions designed to sway the easy to influence ignorant liberal masses to hate Christians.

The answer is that ANYONE, whether Christian or Atheist (and I know there are many Atheists And Christians alike that do), who supports the death penalty, is in fact going against the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Christian belief that only God can give or take life and therefore breaching the moral precepts given to us in the Bible.

And, also, ANYONE, whether Christian or Atheist (and I know there are many Atheists And Christians alike that do), who supports Abortion, also are in fact going against the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Christian belief that only God can give or take life, and therefore breaching the moral precepts given to us in the Bible

Further more, Abortion is the most evil of the two crimes because an unborn baby is a human life created by God and no human being has the right to decide when it is to die. Only a moron would believe that this life inside the womb magically turns into a human the moment it is birthed and is nothing before that moment. But Abortion is especially wrong because these babies are the most vulnerable and innocent of all humanity, and if we cannot stand up and fight for the inalienable right to life given in the Constitution for everyone, including these precious little children who need our protection the most, then we obviously have no respect for human life at any stage.

I don't care who you are, Christian, Atheist, or of any other belief, (and I know there are many of all of them who do) who disrespects human life in any stage from conception through the end of a natural life span, is breaching the moral precepts handed to us by God in the Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, and many other teachings.

I, like you, share the notion that all life is precious and no one, not you or I or the state has the right to take any human life for any reason to include convience.

As a new comer to the idea of Atheism I look back at my old faith and I ask the question "Seeing how Jesus died, should not Christians be staunch opponents to the death penalty?"

It doesn't matter whether your an atheist, a christian, muslim, or scientologist. Those who side with the preservation of life are humanistic and therefore moral.

First of all, anyone who says they are pro-life and support the death penalty is not pro-life, because that is still taking life, no matter what they have done. They should think of a new word like Pro-life for unborn children or something like that.

Wanda... I think that the word you were looking for was hypothetical. ;-)

Ruth "The meanie" (seriously...) - Atheists to not adhear to a specific set of guidelines. You can't band together and 'not' worship something that does not exist...lol

I'm Catholic, and I oppose both abortion and the death penalty.

Having said that, I don't think your question is really fair...morality is not to be found only among christians.......

--- EDIT ---

Wanda....why are you making this a "morality contest"? It seems as though you're simply trying to slam ALL christians as hypocrites without backing up your statement. Can we hear your arguments, please?
