I'm looking at moving t othe Bideford / Ilfracombe area and would really appreciate some advice - are there any area's to avoid? Trouble spots? Where is nice? What's great / bad about this area?

It is a beautiful area, with lovely beaches, picturesque countryside, lots of outdoor activities. The only problem is that there is a great influx of tourists in the summer.Things are very quiet in the winter and there are not many jobs going at that time of the year.The nearest hospital to Ilfracombe is actually in Barnstaple, and there are no longer any trains going further than that. No trouble spots. It is the total rural idyll.
