It exists

2006-10-27 03:11:33 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 12 0

Bisexuality exists within me. Everyone falls somewhere within the spectrum of sexuality from str8 to gay. In relationships, bisexual people are as capable of monogamy as any other person. When you find true love and are committed, it makes it easier to stay faithful, even if you are tempted by both sexes. Temptation will always exist, bisexuals can be as strong in resisting it as anyone else. People who don't like bisexuals have many unjustified reasons. For some, it's because they identify as either gay or straight and are too proud to accept bisexuals. Others may have been cheated on by a bisexual and choose to take their pain out on all of them as a whole. Some prefer to deny bisexuality completely or dismiss it as confusion. Until a person can be honest with themselves about where they are in that spectrum, they can never be honest with anybody else.

As in, "Is it a myth?"?

Bisexuality exists, very much so. The people who identify as so are not confused, lying to themselves, scared to come out as fully gay or straight, or anything like that. They're all around!

I don't think it is the default natural state of humanity (there's no such thing), nor that silly phrase that "Everyone is a little bit bisexual.", but I certainly believe in it, it's positive nature for those who identify as so, and I love being one myself!

Of course! Bisexuality is everywhere you look.

I've noticed that there seem to be two types of bisexuals: The first type is the common type, who is satisfied by either a man or a woman. The second type seem to have a separate sex drive for both men and women--just one or the other would not satisfy them. Has anyone else noticed this?

With all the bisexuals out there...umm yeah! What's the point to this question?

Totally!

I believe that if you are attracted to a person it doesn't matter what their sex is.

If you find yourself inthralled with the same sex just as much as the opposite, then you are bisexual....which is not a bad thing!

Talk about opening up your options!

How can you not? If someone regularly has sex with both genders, they are bisexual. People out there do that, so therefore bisexuality must exist.

I wouldn't say I "believe in" it, but I do believe it exists. I know it exists in me.
But to say I "believe in" it is to say I worship it, which I do not. It's simply a fact of my life.

Not in the sence that I have sexual relations with partners of the same gender AT THE SAME TIME. That's what the Politicians would have you believe, but in the sence that at any given time, I can be attracted to either a male or a female. But this depends wholely on the person him/herself.

I am bisexual but still in the closet. I only had one gay experience but I love looking at the same sex.

That is not a matter of believe but about facts.
Bisexuality exists. And always will.

It is not for me to believe or disbelieve. There are those people who have sex with members of both genders. They exist and their existence does not affect me. I am only bothered when people in America are punished and exposed to bigotry and hatred merely for whom they try to love -- or at least sleep with.
