No, the only way a pregnancy test will come back positive is if you have the hcg hormone in your system, which is what your body produces when you're pregnant. Unless you were given hcg injections to help you conceive, then you are pregnant. Some women have a period when they are pregnant. Make an appointment with your OB ASAP. They may want to do a blood test to check your hcg hormone level. It's good that you are already taking prenatal vitamins because folic acid is so important in the beginning development of an embryo. Try to eat more often though - 6 hours is too long to go in between meals. Eating smaller meals more frequently will help prevent nausea and gestational diabetes. Congratulations and best wishes for a healthy pregnancy, delivery and baby!!

No, prenatal vitamins will not give you a positive on a pregnancy test. Prenatal vitamins are used before, during and after pregnancy to make sure that mom and baby are receiving the vitamins that are needed. You will want to make sure that you are eating something when you are taking your vitamins though. This could be possibly be the cause of your nausea. Many signs of pregnancy , some women do not experience them. The major symptoms of pregnancy that include fatigue, tender breast, irregular cramping, and your body heat is increased throughout your core. My suggestion to you though would be to go to your PCP or GYN and have a test done by them.

It is very possible to continue your cycle through the pregnancy, but no, prenatal vitamins won't cause a false positive. Try another test in a week. But the best way to be absolutely sure is to go to your doctor!

Pre-natals will not cause a false positive, however other factors can. You should retest and if you get a positive fo to the doc for a blood test.

No not at all, the only things that interfere with test results are meds that have the hCG hormone in them, such as fertility drugs. If you're not on those, congrats, you're pregnant!

Your pregnant - - prenatal vitamins or any other type of "vitamins" cannot make you pregnant therefore cannot make a test positive.
