Look no one has died from doing the Dutty Wine, thats a rumour. Even though the news ran a segment tonight (sunday October 29,2006) about a young girl who died a few mintutes after doing the moves- it was probably complications due to some disease not the head spinning and gyrating.
Yes the "Hot Wuk" is the new hip dance for the ladies and involves gnashing of the teeth, flashing of fingersand hands, holding the abdomen and head, "flashing" the nether regions and twisting of the face to signify that one is in agony, while still wining to the beat. It amy involve the pulling of ones hair.This is done to demonstrate the physical pain of a wild night in bed- a hot(painful) F/Wuk.
The dance is easier to do than the "dutty wine" and in its simplest form can be done by pretending one has touched a hot pot and in an effort to cool the burn flashes the hand about wildly.
There are a about five songs about the song including the most popular by Mr Vegas and others by Vybz Kartel, Elephant Man. The video can be viewed in YouTube.

It's called the "dutty wine" as mentioned before. If tou have TEMPO, or any other jamaican/caribbean music network from cable or satellite, Tony Matterhorn's video, which is a song about the dance will give you an idea of how it's done. It's not as easy as it looks, mind you. I've also heard rumors that at least one woman died doing it and looking at the characteristics of it, I can understand why one can injure themself doing it.

There's a dance that came out after DUTTY WINE. Its called HOT WUK. Its a slower version of the Dutty Wine that involves flashing fingers, fanning the crotch etc that imitates how a person behaves after rough s**.
If you are in the Caribbean you need to get a DVD of Passa Passa or Freaky Friday thats dated anytime after Sept 13th or so, then you'll see it.

I just came back 2 weeks ago and I am from Jamaica and the latest dance is good az fi Dem you tip toe and move to the song mi back by Tony Matterhorn and so you know dutty wine is a old dance cause people got injured and died from it so you are very welcome .

since dutty wine there is a newer dance called "hot wuk" u basically wine and flash your fingers. i cant get into the technicalities of it
