I am doing CA Final. Since, childhood i have been working hard with studies, but still in exams i dont get the marks. Perhapes, my conceptual knowledge, undertanding, writing skill, IQ, and consultancy on the professional matters is much much better than my collegus. But when it comes to score the marks in professional exams. i just pass.
One of my weakness, i feel is to become expert of all the things.
Pls answer if u have any suggestion to increase my performance
Pls do help

It depends on u.If u r :
80-100%-EXCELLENT
65-79%-VERY GOOD
51-64%-GOOD
40-50%-FAIR
1-39%-NEEDS A LOT OF IMPROVEMENT

I also had the same problem. I used to get 76.94% BUT I realized
bcoz of my silly mistakes I always got 76% marks.
Less concentration-silly mistakes
More concentration-less silly mistakes.
One day you'll go above 80%
After I increased my concentration,I got 81.37% and in the next exam I got 83.25%
BEST OF LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doing an exam well and scoring high marks do not come automatically once you study hard. Marks are based on the way you write your exams. That's where you are missing out probably. You may study hard, but not hard enough maybe. That is, whatever you are doing is not sufficient to score good marks. Maybe. Or, when you study hard, you know everything in the question paper. As a result you end up writing more and more than is necessary for each question (just because you happen to know more about the answer). Thus, u may run out of time to complete the paper. The reason could be any of these or anything else too! But, it will be better if you put up what you are doing and which exam you are referring to here - school exams / college exams / some entrance exam?

it seems you have tested all the ways! but still no outcome.
in my point of view in this case "tracking the problems and weak points" works better than "trying to do better".
study skills and ways of preperation are all just "trying to do better". but as you mentioned you are doing your best. so the only way is tracking the problems.
actually I have experienced the same problem. but i managed to overcome it.
look! every professor has his/her own way of giving mark. some pay much more attention to your class attendance, homework and ... so just becoming expert on the material is not the point.
have a look at your recent papers.. pay attention to your wrong answers or points, sure your weakpoints in all of the papers have "something" in common. once you find out what is that "something" your problem is solved. and be sure NO-ONE can show you what is "something". you should do it yourself.
also you can talk to the studant that you think knows no more than you but has got a better mark. compare yourself with him/her.

True, jack of all, master of none. It is important to keep update with knowledge of other fields also, but if your prime concern is to get good marks, you need to primarily focus on the course curriculum.

to perform in professional exams you need to gain experience in just the type of papers they would test you with.
so rather than spend time on the general subject pick up previous question papers and do them in the specified time period.
get a professional or tutor to value your performance. relearn that areas that you made errors in.
pick up another paper and do it. repeat until by the time of the exam you are confident that they will not be able to surprise you.
best of luck.

hello sharad, the attitude of yours to be expert in everything is the same that of mine.but I not only want to but also have believe that i can be the best of all.I have complete confidence in me and try to achieve with all effort.with reference to studies,I am mad with it.i would forget to eat, drink, but study with full confidence and get highest marks.i would advise u to go through self-attitude tests wjich are conducted now adays everywhere and then ask about the advise of those people who are conducting that.and don't worry, have faith in u.

tests never test all the subject matter.
Study with some class mates, maybe your making the material harder than it needs to be.
