how far along were you when you went into labor, and did you have to have a c-section or did you give birth vaginally? I am currently 13 weeks prego with twins and I'm just curious to know how much shorter your pregnancies were with twins than with a single.

I had my girls at 32 weeks. It was unexpected and there was no explination as to why I went that early--no health complications with the pregnancy, no health complications with the babies when they were born. They didn't know I was in labor for 7 hours and when they finally checked me, they felt a foot and had to do an emergency C-section. I am not typical, do not be fearful that this senario will happen to you. If you take care of yourself during your pregnancy and assuming that there are no complications, I see no reason why your pregnancy can't be just as long as a singleton pregnancy. On average, the "full term" of a twin pregnancy is shortened only by 2-4 weeks. There is plenty of time for your little ones to grow and come into the world. I hope things are going smoothly for you! Congratulations!! Your life is about to be doubly blessed!!!!!

32wks. And had to have a c-section! But it depends on the person's body type and shape! How much the babies weigh too! Just remember the cravings may be tough to handle but try to eat healthy. It's easier to get the weight off. Eat lost of fruit and veggies! And drink plenty of water NO CAFFEINE! Best of luck to you and you twins keep us posted as to how things are going!
