It would most definately as it isnt the right consistancy or has the right properties for sperm to survive. So obviously some would but it does kill some of.
The only one that is perfect for sperm is a lubricant called preseed, and it is used for people who dont get much fluid down there as that can minimise your chances as well. They come in little individual tubes. It feels great too.

According to the documentation that I have read most lubricants CAN effect sperm quality or make the woman's body inhospitable to the sperm. This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

Yes, lubricants can damage sperm - including saliva. Vegetable or olive oil is much safer. The best lube is the egg white cervical mucus women get just before ovulation. This not only provides lubrication, but the cm helps to protect the sperm until the egg is released.

Using lubrication doesn't limit the sperm but losing mobility leaving it less likely for the sperm to reach the egg in time to ovulate

While the EWCM (egg white cervical mucus) is the best transporter for sperm, Pre-Seed is supposed to emmulate EWCM in the vagina and uterus, which helps to nourish the sperm until it can find your egg and fertilize it.
BTW, there is very little evidence that any other lubricants can or will damage, inhibit, or demobilitize your partner's sperm.

The lubrication can slow the sperm down and stop it from getting where its supposed to get.

I would say you should indulge in more foreplay, especially oral sex, to get the desired result. Lube takes up space in the vaginal cavity and therefore more of his come will find its way out of you more quickly whereas at least with me, I find that it mixes with your own juices and stays in there longer without lube.

the best lube to use while trying to get pregnant would be PreSeed...there are some docs out there that say that waterbased lubes and saliva can kill sperm or inhibit its motility
