approx. 419.5 gallons
or better make that approx. 385.1 gallons, since you wouldn't want to fill the tank all the way up, and you would leave about 4" between the water line and the top edge of the tank

2'x7'x4' = 56 cubic feet
1 cubic foot = 6-1/4 imperial gallons (UK)
so 56 x 6.25 = 350 UK gallons

1 US gallon = 128 fl.oz
1 UK gallon = 160 fl.oz = 1-1/4 US gallons
so (350 x 5)/4 = 437-1/2 US gallons

CAUTION !!! 1 gallon of water weighs 10 lbs;
so the weight of water is 3500 lbs : over 1-1/2 tons !!! Hope you've got a strong stand or piece of furniture to put it on.

418 gallons

I got it by multiplying LxWxH then dividing it by 231. But you can use this calculator, http://www.efishtank.com/Misc/Calculator.asp?length=84&width=48&height=24
