RESPECTED.. b/c I think it can turn into love. I do not however, think love can lead to respect. I think love can actually lead more to dis-respect.

I would rather be respected than loved. But being loved in the world is what makes us live life to the fullest. I think being respected goes a longer way than love does. But that is only my opinion, some may say differently. Being respected is something everyone really desires deep down inside. My mom always told me if you wish to be respected than you need to be respecful to others. It's a good feeling when someone tells you that they respect you and look to you for advice or guidence.

Respected. But I don't believe someone can truly love you without respecting you.

I guess respected. Because to me its the first step before love. Also Love is an bonus which can be bought (Amongst other things) by somebody who respects me :)

Respected - only if being loved means that you can't be respected.
