We are doing this for a class research and i just want to know what some of the famous Mathmaticians that have made a difference in everyone's life. I also would like to know what the name of the Latest Mathmatician is and what contributions he has on kids today. We all need to know because little do everyone know, we need math in our lives to help us get through high school and college.

Most mathematicians were also recognized for contributions to Science. Sir Isaac Newton didn't just work in Physics, he also created Calculus as we know it. Rene Descartes was recognized for philosophy but also made major contributions to geometry. The ancient Egyptians invented trigonometry. the ancient Babylonians basically invented the rest of geometry (which is why a circle has 360 degrees).

John Nash is one of the latest genius mathematicians. The movie "Beautiful Mind" which won 4 oscar awards is about his life and works. This movie is based on a book under the same title.
He won a nobel for his work in "Game Theory" though many experts say he has written many thesis' which are even better than this.

there are a lot of mathematicians who contributed something to the world.newton and leibniz for example invented calculus which has application almost on all section of life.we can mention gauss who showed as a way to simplify any complex equation in to a polynomial one.we can also mention hilbert.reiman,pythagorous... they are to many to list them all here.please let me know if this answer is any help to you.

Pythagoras created Pythagoras' Theorem (amongst other things) which is widely used in architecture and engineering
Pascal created 'Pascal's Triangle' which is used for measuring probability of one event coming out of a series of events, for example getting 4 sixes when I roll 10 dice
