It all depends on the circumstance and where you are. If your out at a club or bar and the girl can carry the look...then whats the big deal. If guys didn't like it..they wouldn't pay any attention to it. And the girls that are complaining about it are jealous because they are afraid to either be proud of themselves or know they wont look good doing it. Who cares what someone else is wearing anyway? You choose what you want to wear and they do the same, why is your choice any better than theirs? What makes you better? Get over yourselves ladies (to the ones who are so negetive) live a little.
By the way.....I wear thongs because I dont like those obvious panty lines that look terrible no matter what your size. Look at your backside before you walk out the door. Same goes for too tight bras.....those rolls on your back will go away if you wear a bra that fits right....back boobs are very UN attractive !!!!

I think it's trashy and done mainly for attention. To the girl above who thinks that most girls say this out of jealousy, not true. I can totally pull this off, but I choose not to do so. It's inappropriate. I buy the low rise thongs so they won't be showing.

I would be more interested to see what the guys had to say.
I would look absolutely disgusting dressed this way. I also feel that it is inappropriate in front of strange children, so people like my sister-in-law who dresses like that in a grocery store or similar venues, is a little trashy, but I still like her. Plus, at least she looks good.
I think that most of the girls that just blatantly label all girls that dress this way as trashy, are just jealous that they can't pull it off. I'm a little jealous too, but I can admire beauty wherever it is, even in another girl (no, I am not gay). I just do not want them to dress this way in front of my little boys. Keep it in the clubs, bars, and home (except when you are expecting young nephews over for dinner).
Regarding doing it for attention, sure they are, just like others who wear low cut or tight tops, or very short shorts or skirts. Remember this, usually those get attention this way and only keep it because of that are attracting the same type of person. You would not want that type of guy in the long run......... think about it. Get attention for what you wish to be noticed and it will be noticed by the right kind of person for you!

It's rather discusting when I see it. It looks trashy. Who's to say they are clean anyways ya know? Yeah, most men think it's okay and it looks sexy but lots of other people think it is gross. Okay I believe those girls who wear thongs and low cut jeans to show off their butts is only doing it for attention, which sends a message that they are trashy and looking for attention. It makes it harder for classy women who tend to keep our valuables covered. More to the imagination is best.

Seeing a girls thong or 'whaletail' as they are called (on a nice girl at least) is much better than
not seeing one, it is both sezy and trashy...I love it!!

No one points it out to me. Most people assume that if you're wearing low rider pants it's because you want your panties to peek. Either wear higher-cut jeans or quit wearing panties.
