I would like to hear testimonials from people who have used aloe vera juice for health reasons especially for digestive and healing properties in reference to colon. How much did you use, exactly what dosage, where did you purchase it and anything else you think is helpful

Make sure you use whole leaf aloe vera juice. It will taste a little more bitter than the other, but it will work better. Nature's Sunshine has a very high-quality product. If your health food store does not carry their line, ask the clerk which brand is comparable. Start with a dosage of 4oz. per day. Do not be surprised if you start to cleanse. Aloe vera will work to promote healing in the entire digestive tract.

You can also use peppermint essential oil topically over the abdomen. Dilute two drops of peppermint in one ounce of carrier (unscented massage oil, natural cooking oil, or unscented hand cream) and apply topically twice a day. I believe the two therapies will work well for you.

Aloe vera juice is good for the general health,if you are having it in the summer.but if you use it in the winter / rains there is a possibility to catch cold. As this juice cools and gives a lining in the intestine where by it reduces acidity an ulceration and gas problems . This only to be taken early in the morning on an empty stomach. This does not help in the process of digestion in any manner but sooths the stomach. Alo vera juice can be applied on the fase and arms and feet to reduce the wrinkels and smoothen the skin with a glow, If applied on open wounds they heal faster. if the feet are hurting, soaking the feet in the solution mixed with water and a pinch of salt makes the feet nice and smooth.

A few years ago I had problems with a stomach ulcer and it kept getting worse the doctor kept giving me all kinds of pills, drinks and yuck to try then it began bleeding I knew I had to try something else. I remembered seeing aloe vera juice at the health food store and hearing about it from a friend of mine so I got a gallon jug of it and 2X a day morning and night I took 1/2 cup. Within a month all syptoms were gone, now when ever I feel the burn coming back I start taking aloe again. It is available in liquid form or soft gels. I also recommended it to a friend who had colonic ulcers and she also had remarkable results! By the way it can be purchased at Meijer and or Walmart and most health food stores. It does have a cleansing effect so stay close to a bathroom!

Aloe Vera juice can be bought at a healthfood store. Or buy the plant and make your own juice.
Aloe Vera is known to heal all illnesses. Good for toothaches too.
