india is a very great country!
i find it very interesting, amusing country!
the culture, tradition, way of ideas, dresses, thinkings, are enough for the country to be called great!
well, i m an indian myself, if u havent visited it, then u should!!

I am proud of of being an Indian.
Definitely there are certain things that make any Indian feel ashamed of being an Indian.
Caste ism, corruption, favouritism, dadagiri, so and so....,
I am not an apologist, but every country has its own unique problems.
Then what makes me proud of being an Indian is her great great tolerance.
When almost all countries in the past were intolerant towards other religions and ideologies, and when other countries went on persecuting the followers of other religions and ideologies, India invited foreign religions with open mind and allowed them to multiply in the Indian soil.
This great culture produced great thinkers of atheism- Charvaka etc.-where as other countries branded such thinkers as infidels and massacred them.
Now the western liberal countries are basing their principles on Indian culture rather than their intolerant past.
It is really good to be an Indian, with all her shortcomings.

lol i have no idea about that . I am not exactly bothered if i am an proud of being an indian or not , i dont really care, the worst part of being an indian is always being wiz some stupid community and people u dont even like and believeing in this stupid traditional cultures i hate them all , i think its illiterate or like not civilised at all. Seriously thats my opinion, though i follow my culture and stuff. lol and the positive sid eof being an indian is being smart at math lol i am loving it, and watelse emmm its cool to be a virgin, cuz our parents thought us not to distroy ur life wiz any guys who cheat u . haha ... basically thats all and i love kool expensive saries. thats it .....

I am really proud to be an Indian due its cultural heritage and its customs which makes us treat any living being on this earth with equal love and which tell us to accept any body who wants to be an Indian without any visa which the other countries do.

the food is great
the people are extremely friendly and welcoming
the food is delicious
the clothes are beautiful
the whole nation is amazing
although i live in canada..i love india...i went there in march for vacation and i cant wait to go again..
be proud to be an indian...

yes i do because being an indian morever as a girl i got many facilities for my education as well as job . another reason is recently that ; in POONA just b4 few days brad and anjelina were shooting 4 A MIGHTY HEART. BUT ORIGINALL IT WAS GOING TO BE SHOOTED IN karachi in PAKISTAN BUT DIRECTOR FOUND THAT EASILY SHE CAN CONVERT SINGH SOCI. IN KARACHI AS A SET. AND I DON'T KNOW U WIL OR WON'T BELIEVE THIS THING THAT ONLY IN INDIA THERE ARE 3 SEASONS.
