I would suggest going to babycenter.com. They have tons of information on getting pregnant including a calendar to help you figure out your optimum dates to get pregnant and to figure out if you are etc.
Period symptoms are not normally the signs of a pregnancy but everyone is different. Morning sickness normally starts after a few weeks when the hormone levels get higher.
Normally ovulation is about 13-15 days after your period, it depends on your cycle length. If you had your period start on the 7th, you would most likely get pregnant around the 21-22 of the month. Although it is possible that you could be pregnant because some sperm can live up to a week after sex, thats why there are no "free days" when you are trying NOT to get pregnant.
Perhaps you fixated on becoming pregant though, that can easily happen when you are trying. If you aren't this time don't worry, it took us 3 months of trying, it can take years for some people. Stress makes it harder. Make sure you are taking a prenatal vitamin while you are trying though.
You would know youself better than anyone though and you should trust your instincts or "gut feeling". That little voice in your head is usually right.
I knew I was pregnant right away, but I doubted myself until I got the pregnancy test... i used the one that is supposed to work 4 days before your period is due. It gave me 2 pink lines, but one was so faint it was almost invisible so I doubted it too... then my doctor did one in her office and it was negative, but I doubted her too because I felt that I was pregnant for sure... it was nuts.
My husband called the manufacturer of the first test I took and a really faint line is still a positive reading.
Now we have a beautiful 9 month old baby who thinks he is a monkey... it all works itself out in the end anyway, so why worry...

Assuming you have a normal cycle, the date of your ovulation was approximately on the 22nd (if Oct. 7 was the 1st day of your menses). The best time of getting pregnant was having sex from the 19th -23rd of Oct approximately, considering that the sperm can stay for 3 days. Your chance of getting pregnant is when there you had a very early ovulation period which is not commonly happening.
Let us assume you had gotten pregnant on those days, it will take about 9 days to have uterine implantation which will start the increase of pregnancy hormones thus it is possible to have early pregnancy signs. You can do blood test by now if you are so eager to know as urine test is least likely to give good result by now ifever there is pregnancy.
It could also be possible that you are having premenstrual signs. Just a week of waiting and this possibility will be cleared if there is period.
Anyway just take care!♥

Hey sweetie Sounds like pregnancy to me. All the symptoms you mention are definitely early pg symptoms! Remember, pregnancy takes a lot out of the body - especially in the first trimester. So, if you aren't managing to eat properly coz you're feeling icky, and maybe you're not on prenatal vitamins, it is likely that your body will take a knock - so you probably have flu too! I would get a test as soon as possible so that if you are, you can start on prenatal vitamins and get some advice on keeping your immune system strong through the pregnancy, Good luck! I hope you get the answer you're looking for!

The better thing to do would be to take a test, not ask here. They have tests now that can detect before your next scheduled period.

I don't think you are...you weren't ovulating yet.Why are you worrying, you still have more than a weeks to go and find out if you do miss your period. You don't sound pg to me, maybe this is just in your head or your symptoms have other explanation..maybe you are just sick.
