Yes! Hopefully they learn that nobody is as interested in your kids as you are.

Yes...not just parents but grandparents as well. It bothers me that people think that they should be something special to everyone in the world around them just because a child is born. And I'm really concerned that they objectify the baby, that this new person belongs to them and not that the child is actually going to be an individual with it's own thoughts and ideas.
The whole situation seems co-dependent. People are basing their egos on how much attention they get for someone else. And the parents base their identity on the existence of their children. Like they never mattered before they proved they have had sex. I think those are probably the parents most likely to have teenagers who hate them and can't wait to grow up and get away.

It depends on my closeness to the parent. If it's one of my friends I want to be constantly updated. If it's just a co-worker, I get annoyed. The cuteness of the baby matters too.

I love baby boys so if there are too many girl pictures that annoys me. I think when i decide to have children though i think that God will bless me with girls only.

No, parents are constantly celebrating the birth of their child if when they are no longer babies. They are proud to have you, and want the whole would to know you exist. You are fortunate, some of us never have that experience.
