wel, as graph can show three dimensions in all. ie x-axis, y-axis and z-axis for lengths and breadths and all. Albert Einstein has proved 4th dimension as space-time. some theories say, there are infinite dimensions. If i try n think of some 5th dimension, if exists, i come with a option of energy as a 5th one.
so finally, if stephen hawking is there to listen, pls answer. All others are also invited to share this view.

There are only three physical dimensions:
Length, Width, Depth
So the actual answer to your question is there are only three dimensions in the physical world.
You are right, time is considered a dimention because IN THEORY it follows the same properties as the physical dimensions, but we percieve it in a non-physical way. It is not a physical dimention. Einstein proved that we should be able to take time and manipulate it, slow it down, speed it up, etc. just like other dimensions.
Note that practically, just like a pencil can not be -2 inches long, you can not go back in time in Einstein's theory. You can SLOW DOWN time and SPEED UP time, but you can't LEAP forwards and backwards. Just a side note.
Particle accelerators have actually sped objects up to the point where they are observed to behave in slower or faster time (usually particles decaying at a rate other than their known constant rate), depending on the observer. Look up the TWIN PARADOX if you want a simple explination on how to slow down/speed up time. It is far from practical, and we really can't use it for anything because you have to be moving at near the speed of light to manipulate time even a fraction of a second, but none-the-less, it is possible and has been done. There are even some theories with pretty good date to back them up that time flows at different speeds for people of different ages and even at different places on the planet (like the equator as opposed to the poles).
As for other dementions, there are several theories that require more dementions that we can not presently observe, from 7 total to 9 to 16 to infinite. Otherwise the theorys don't work. BUT these other dimensions are artificially made up after the fact to fit the theories, they have never been observed or proven.
SO, we are only able to PHYSICALLY observe three dimensions plus time as the 4th that is somehow different from the others, if only in the scope it takes to manipulate it. Any other dimentions are pure speculation and theory.

There are 3 physical dimensions, and one more that we call time. These are flat dimensions, ie we can observe them. It is possible that more dimensions exist but they would be curled up so tight that we could never experience them. If they were not curled up then the 3 physical dimensions would interact differently and we would not be able to exist to ask the question of how many dimensions there are. This is somewhat circular logic and newer theories involving p-branes (not pee brains) dispute the above limit, though none have been proven. I think this question will not be definitivley answered for some time. If you require more detailed explanation of the explanation involving our ability to ask please see chapter 4 in The Universe In A Nutshell, by Steven Hawking. (There are other sources but this is the easiest to understand)

There are 373,248 dimensions that make up our physical world. They all are involved with the creation and regulation of singularities of matter, quanta of energy, and moderating forces between matter and energy. Time is not a dimension. Time is an illusionary, artificial, and subjective construct we use to measure duration between events. There is no other time than right now. Everything happens in the infinite present, this very moment.

First off, ignore Chris.
There's 3 dims of space & time is the 4th. Like you would with dimensions in a 3D cube, bear in mind that every single dimension exists at right angles to ALL the others. In terms of the geometry, time is always at right angles to space.
So...what is at right angles to ALL 4 of them?? The closest phenomenon i can think of is the manner in which each of us acts out our free will...i.e. the nature how events occur is variable based on how you choose to proceed in excercising an option. If one moment of history (say, the Kennedy assasination) changed because a fly decided to buzz itself into Lee Harvey Oswald's nose, thus thwarting him pulling the trigger altogether, then we'd have a MUCH different progression of events...an "alternative reality"...an alternate turn in the field of a "fifth dimension". Our interactions with each other and the universe as a whole may well be thought of as intersecting lines. Then take into account that each unique individual possessing the ability to act on its own will does so at right angles to space and time in this manner....that would mean each of us (even that fly) would represent ONE OF AN INFINITE NUMBER OF DIMENSIONS.
Most of the more learned people would say this scenario isn't practical...but who ever said the universe set itself up for our practicality??
I think there's as many dimensions as there are numbers to denote them.
