1. The national Monument heritage preserve, Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan in City Market and his old fort,
2. The Lal Bagh.

The princely city, Abode of the Wodayar Dynasty, the Palace is the most beautiful of local monuments,
The Brindavan gardens near mysore are a once in a life time musts, with water cascading on steps for more than 6000 feet musical fountains and a palace atop the whole thing. Designed and built by Sir Vishweshwayraya. its an architectural marvel and an engineering feat.
