Hmm interesting point about friends and family being gone. But wouldn't they have family and then they have family and so on... So you would never be completely alone would you.

Oh Yes! As a Vampire. I'd turn all my friends and family if they wanted to. I'd live off the blood of the evil people, never anyone innocent, and try and make the world a better place.

No, because i wouldn't want to see all the people i know die, it would be too depressing, or I could be like that highlander guy and become distant from everyone I know, killing other evil vampire immortals and sleeping with beautiful women who think I'm cool.

no my friends and family would be gone and I would be left to make new friends.
now If my family and friends were also offered immortality and excepted then yes I would.
