When I start my computer nothing happens on the screen and I hear uniform long beeping sounds, and the powerbutton doesn't work and to turn off my computer I need to remove the powercord.
The screen remains blank- all the fans are in operation, and the disk drives function. On the back of the computer there are 4 indicator diodes which are glowing red- except one that is glowing green.
I am confused- is this a problem with the powerbox or the 3d card? Perhaps something is loose? Help please.

Ram, you say? I have two ram and I've tried switching places and using only either of them but neither seems to work. Before this I had frequently problems with the computer freezing when memory use was high. Could it be that both of my 512mb RAM are busted?
I still don't get why my power butten is dysfunctional, is it a part of the ram problem?
