It is The present Dr Who (David Tennant) hands down for me, I love slim 'librarian-esque men' with that student chic dress sense and glasses I melt when David puts his on!!!!!! (Lucky me, my hubby fits the bill there!!!!) Dean Cain as Clark rather than Superman (Lois and Clark), Alexis Dennisoff as 'Wesley' rather than David Borenaz as Angel Angel), Anthony Head as Giles (Buffy)...erm, really freezing cold shower.......!!!!!!!!
Captain Jack is too 'Peter Perfect' but John Barrowman is a great actor!!!

Ladymoonlight I agree mostly but I'm sorry honey, John Barrowman does NOTHING for me!! On the plus side it means you get him all to yourself, so be gentle with him!!!!!!!

William Hartnell, the first Doctor Who, was the best followed by Patrick Troughton the second DW. Showing my age now and I still hide behind the sofa when the Daleks are on (Creepy).

Well I've met David Tennant and he's a lovely man. And very fanciable too - I agree with you about the slim, librarian look. I love a man who looks like he can actually hold a conversation after sex!

He is totally yummy.

But Captain Jack Harkness aka John Barrowman - you'd have to be made of stone not to fall for his big blue eyes and cleft chin - and that SMILE! GAH! Makes me go weak at the knees!

I'm going to have to choose both of them.

I agree with you about Alexis Denisof ("Wesley") from Angel - he is an extraordinarily handsome man! Yum!

i have been and always will be a Dr Who fan - no matter which Dr you mean.

but

you get to see a much different side to Captain Jack Harkness in Torchwood than you did in Dr Who.

in Dr Who he was a flash, flirty adventurer.

in Torchwood he seems to be a lot quieter and more serious a character -
cant wait to see what happens in both shows.

by the way i am not gay i am just a big sci-fi fan, who will answer most questions to do with sci-fi.

geek moment -
Torchwood is an anagram of Doctor Who, and was used to stop nosey people finding out what was happening in the series.

it was written on the front cover of new Dr Who scripts to deter people from finding out all the juicy details.

I'm with you on geeky sorts, so David Tennant. Although John Barrowman is a good kisser judging by that bit from "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?"

Ooh difficult one. I love me some Dr-geek-chic, but Captain Jack's got the "boys'n'girls they're all the same" thing going on.

Can I have Captain Jack in a pair of Jarvis-Cocker-specs?

And everyone in the world loves Tony Head!

Definately the good Dr!

Captain Jack Harkness is too full of himself and a bit irritating!

Captain Jack is much more fun. The latest Dr has read too much of his own press releases. Much prefer Chris Eccleston as the Dr though.

P.S. This is as person, not love interest.

Alexis Dennisof is cool, but i'm sorry he doesn't compare with David Boreanaz.
