First of all, it would depend on where the moon was in it's orbit. The distance varies from 360,000 km to 405,000 km. If you use the average distance of about 382,000 km and you walked at an average speed 5 Km/hr, it would take you 382,000 / 5 =76,400 hours = 76,400 / 24 = 3,183.333 days = 3183.333 / 365 = 8.72 years This is assuming that you could actually walk to the moon and that you didn't stop to rest.

About 9 years, if you walk at 3 MPH for 24 hours a day the whole time. Another way to think of it is the distance to the Moon is about 10 times the distance around the world. So it would take the same amount of time as walking around the world 10 times.

The moon is roughly 200,000 miles away from the surface fo the earth. The average person walks approximately 4 or 5 miles per hour. So, 200,000/5=40,000 hours. 40,000/24 = [approx] 1,666 days or about 4.5 years.
Bring good walking shoes and lots of water. Enjoy the hike.

if the distance is 358,000 kms
and you walk at a constant speed of 5miles an hour, which is roughly 8km an hour, it would take 44750hours
=1865 days
=5years.
so quite along time, (5 miles an hour is also a ver yfast walking speed so, itll be more like 7/8years. or taking into account of sleeping 1/3 of the time, more like 10years)

i did some quick sums and at 2mph (walking speed) it would take you 4980 day's (13 years and 7 months) if you walked 24/7. except you cant walk (even with a space suit on) in space, you need a jet pack and to be attached to a ship.
At 4mph 2500 days ( 6 years and 9 months)
At 10mph 1000 days (2 years and 9 months)

The average distance from the Moon to the Earth is 384401 kilometres so if you walked at an average speed+/-standard deviation of 5.72+/-0.69 km/h it would take you about 64,067 hours (7.32 years)

Depends WHEN you wish to go, because the distance changes all the time. But let's take an average of 370,000km, then it will take you 8 1/2 years, no pee break, no sleep, no MacDonald.....
Off you go then!

You can't walk to the moon, because it's in space,
You need to fly in an aircraft.

It's 238,857 miles away, and depends how fast you walk!
At 4mph it would take about 2500 days!
We'd be dead by the time we got there... and anyway there's nothing to do when you get there!
