perverted but why do the majority of women shave off their pubic hair

You're not perverted.
Most women do it because they think it is more clean, or they think that men (or women) think it's more clean, or because they like the way it looks.
There is nothing wrong with pubic hair or liking pubic hair. And it has got nothing to do with hygiene, although a lot of people seem to think so.
It's also a fashion thing. Untill recently most women had pubic hair. Just rent a porn movie from the 70's. It's all hairy.

I shave my pubic hair off because (this is going to be nasty) when a woman's period is on it's kind of disgusting to have your pubic hair stained and clotted with blood. But if you are shaved down there then you can simply change your pad and wipe the blood with baby wipes. To me its more cleanly.

I've never understood the practice of removing ALL of it. Yes, I do believe in keeping it trimmed and neat in appearance, but that's out of respect for my partner.

If you clean yourself properly, it 'harbors' no more "odor" than being fully cleared away. That's just BS.

I find the look of a fully shaven pubic region just way too pediastic. It looks naked, childlike, inappropriate and creepy.

We're humans, we're SUPPOSED to have hair there.
No, not a wild and untamed bush, but definitely a trimmed neat showing of our adult bodies!

so does this mean i'm finally in the minority of something on here? my middle sister does it because one of her ex's liked it and now she just does it all the time - of course she says "i go through men like i go through toilet paper." so maybe not the best example. i don't shave, but i trim. as for odors - getting rid of the hair doesn't get rid of odor - help with odor comes from the material your underware are made from. some women just like to do it. i don't know why though, it itches like crazy!!! i did it once and never will again!

I once saw one that only had about an inch left in the middle. Probably a cross between a 'muff-mohican' and an Adolf with a vertical smile.

The old saying 'smell of fish' has really got into their heads to the point of it being a major psycological issue.

I think they do it so they don't sweat as much and avoid this huge personal worry.

Not ever been with a woman that shaved their pubes or a man that did either for that matter.

Why do men do it? That is another good question. Wouldnt it make them look like they are 10 years old.
