When you are answering these questions, do you read the other comments before you comment? Or do you comment and then read the other comments?
How do you respond to flippant questions, with wit & humor or scorn?
Just curious.

I answer first, then most of the time I go through to see who answered the same as me. It all depends on how long I have, too. If I'm at work forever (like today) I'll go through and read all the answers, and give people thumbs up if I really like the answers, or sometimes if they answer the same as me. I like to give people points when I can!♥(And every little bit helps, right?) :)

I just read the question & any additional details that the asker has posted. Then I answer without reading any other answers that might be up....unless it's a technical category. Then I read them so that I might be able to offer more helpful information.
As far as flippant questions, my response depends upon the tone of the question & my mood at the moment. I'll try for wit & humor, but if the question struck a nerve, I sometimes spout off with a scornful remark instead.

i do it different evey time! if its a hard question like this one i read the comments first, like i did on this question to give me a little more ideas of what to put. other times i will answer first then read. but then some times i answer and do not read at all.
all the good questions contain wit and humor. i dont know exactly how to respond to those though, it just makes me laugh

most of the time I do the responding then read other replys , sometimes I read others and if I was going to respond the same way I'll say i agree with ( whoever ) and then i might add a littles something to it-- part 2 it depends on what kind of question they are asking as to my response but 12 and 13 years old girls wanting to know is it ok to have sex -- most of the time I give alittle scorning- way to young for sex and they are too young to get that invovled that early in life-- so what if there bf will leave if they donot give in -- find another one thats the oldest trick in the book to get onto someone's pants and most young girls fall for it ALL the time
