AdAware also works well.
Because you have Windows 98, you are limited to what tools you can use. Many of the anti-spyware tools require Windows 2000 or newer.
Use the two together.
Download, install, and update both programs.
Reboot into safe mode. In safe mode, may of these undesirable programs will not start, making them easier to remove. Start in safe mode by pressing F8 while booting. If you see Windows start, you missed it and start over. When the start menu appears, select safe mode.
Run each program, separately, removing anything they find.
Reboot in normal mode
Repeat running both programs separately.
This should solve your problem

go here and download the free avg antivirus and spyware remover update them and run them in safe mode
if its still infected go back and follow the remove viruses manualy instructions
