Say "I'll think about it" in all honesty, and then I think about if I want to or can do it, and then give my answer...then if I don't want to do it, I look at why I don't want to do it.

Uh, what is wrong with just saying no? You don't need an excuse. If you practice saying what you mean and living authentically, then people grow to trust you and know when you say yes you mean yes and when you say no you mean no.

Say straight, I can't do for such and such reasons. Be straight always. If you lie it will come out afterwards. You will become untrustworthy. That will damage your personality. If you are straight your personality not only get enhanced in front of others but you become awefull to them.
