This happened to the wife of a Dallas cowboys coach. She had taken the salad home and started to eat and found the rat it was like 6 inches long with it's mouth wide open.....eeeewww!!!
Needless to say the family is now suing McD's. I am never eating there again....what would you do???

This is one of those things that may or may not have happened. Besides, once she left the building, MD's isn't liable anymore. Anyone can put something in a salad at home.
It's possible that someone in MD's did it, but not very probable

After vomiting, rinsing out and gargling with Listerine for like, an hour, I would have the spouse come home and take pictures of it to send to my attorney.

I would go to the doctor to get a tetanus shot.

I would have the attorney contact McDonald's for a huge settlement.

Then go on a cruise around the world on an ocean liner, not those tacky cruise ships.

The whole situation is REALLY BAD!!! I am glad that it wasn't fraud (like the Wendy's customers and their missing finger...)

I wonder what the f_ the management of the store was doing to make sure that the establishment was hygienic. Also, wondering if it was an employee who just quit...

That is totally rediculous. There are no products in a salad that are kept in dry storage other than the container...

all the products are kept in a cooler below 40 degrees then the salads are prepared and stored again below 40 degrees...when you order. the lid is removed...the salad goes down the production line where hot chicken is placed on top...then a lid is placed back on..a minimun 0f 3 people would have not seen a 6" rat? Plus there would not have been room....you should not believe everything you read!

First I would get a lawyer and document and take photos, get medical testing, etc, then I would quietly ask them for not only a very large sum of money to keep it from the news, but also proof that health inspectors have checked out the restaurant and found it to have been brought up to code, or closed. If they didnt comply, I would scream to the press and then pursue legal action.

There is no way a six inch rat would fit in one of our Salad bowls. The salads are not premade, I see no possible way for this to have happened.

I'd sue...my friends were eating a place called Hoovers, and one of them found a baby roach in his burger. They still eat there though!

I would go back to the counter and offer them extra money for the protein.
