Seems really stupid to have to vote on machines that cannot be traced or audited and that leave no paper trail. I hear that they can be easily hacked into to change votes. I heard about a test where a voting machine was easily hacked using wireless technology. Well now you know how I feel. What do you think about this? Are you sure that your vote will count for something?

I am very comfortable with most of the electronic voting machines, with the exception of a few. Most of these machines are very reliable and secure, having three memory paths, including a verifiable paper audit trail. Plus, the machines also have a battery backup, that way, should the power go out, no votes will be lost and people can continue voting. However, if you don't feel comfortable voting on the machines you should check with your local election office and see if there are other options. For example, in Tennessee a voter may request a paper ballot at the polls.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the machines. They're made by the same people that make ATM machines. Do you worry about it when you use an ATM machine? I think people are floating the notion that something is wrong so they can protest the election if the voting doesn't turn out the way they want it to. I wish they'd stop this crap or we're going to end up like Mexico.

More worried about procedure this tool simplifies the cheating process! First you will never have verifiable voting until secrecy is removed! Next you need proof paper trial wise leave the polls with the original! Then have a public posting on county websites of that original cast ballot for all to see & access! start there for keeping it honest with much more to follow!
