I know this is from an old joke but many a true word said in jest. Klingons, Blacks, Scottish, Chinese, etc. but no muslims!
It's set in the future. Will it become a reality, me thinks?

I'm not sure what you mean in your sentence, but a lot of Star Trek gagets and technology has certainly been invented. I they are working hard on inventing transporters, so maybe.

Well, 'Muslim' is not a race, it's a religion. Star Trek did have Asian characters, albeit not in major roles.
