Im not a fan of Bush, by any means. But what are you talking about? What did you expect him to do? He was in Florida. What kind of evacuation would you have wanted? Maybe if you explain what you mean people could actually answer your question.

I still care very much about what happened on 9/11...one reason is because of this crazy war we're involved in.

However what he did or didn't do at this point doesn't matter....it will fix nothing.

We as a country need to focus on what's happening today...because we're in plenty of trouble right now.

Yes Bush did something, he attacked Iraq and killed many many more innocent civilians in Iraq to avenge his Father's unfinished war. I guess he like to see civilians being killed so they can't join the military, and become force one day.

Perhaps he wasn't that surprised. After all a bunch of his cronies had stated a year ealier that what America needed was another 'Pearl Harbor' (See link below).
And then the month before Condi received and briefed him on a report entitled "Bin Ladin determined to strike inside US".
Besides he had important stuff to do like finishing up the book, "My Pet Goat" or some such.

It was up to NYC to evacuate the people. Bush, though I am not a fan, was as stunned as everyone.
HE did invade Afghanistan, which was right. Then he invaded Iraq, which was a very DUMB move

He did have things that he had ordered to happen, but he continued his appointment with the kids so no one would panic. I'm not a Bush fan, but I think he handled the day quite well.
