I do, I would iron them to take out the wrinkles and reuse them for the next Christmas. People usually can't tell the difference. Or I would make a collage out of a variety of christmas gift wrapping paper and glue them together.

After I make a collage out of the old wrapping paper, I would use them to wrap presents.

If I'm unable to use the wrapping paper, I would throw it in the recycling bin because it is paper.

That's interesting! I do save the paper sometimes, but I'm a good one for saving those gift bags, and cards. (Oh, yes, and the bows if at all possible.) I'm not cheap, but buying all that every year gets expensive. Wrapping paper is outrageous in price, then they barely give you enough to wrap 3 big presents. That's a very good idea!♥

I have re-used some of the paper that isn't wrinkled for like smalled gifts but the stuff with wrinkles I just throw out, don't have the time to iron wrapping paper.

Really nice crafting ideas, but I usually don't recycle the paper. I don't generally have that much left over.

When someone gives me a Christmas present, I don't open it. I just leave it in the wrapper for the whole year, then give it back to them next Christmas. Every couple of years, I change the name tag too.

I don't do it with christmas paper but I do it with Christmas cards, I make Christmas tags, or cut out the pictures and re-paste on my own homemade cards and it looks really nice!

Be careful, it's not that its a bad idea, but if you get caught you'll look quite the fool. If you're looking to reduce and reuse, I suggest using gift bags. There great as there is virutually no work involved and can be used over and over and over....you get the point.

What a great idea. Aren't you the Susie Homemaker! I would love to recycle some of the beautiful papers, but my kids always rip right through them in spite of my admonishings. Thanks for the idea.
