I think the republicans need a total overhaul. Between the war and attacking the handicapped, they are not looking too good.

(Captain MOE: Look at the Limbaugh video. He was totally making fun of Fox personally. He was jerking around in a half assed attempt of imitating him.)

Well, nothing could have been done, anyway.

Embryonic stem cell research, with or without US taxpayer funding, is still decades - DECADES - away from being able to provide any medical treatment. There is nothing in the works, nothing coming soon, no treatments identified or worked on.

Now, let's look at some other facts. First, the first time the taxpayers funded embryonic stem cell research was when Bush decided to fund a number of existing lines. Reagan and Bush1 didn't, nor did Clinton, even though the research has been going on since the 1980's.

Oops, did that fact just bite your sanctimony right on the a$$?

What the hell? why is someones horrible debilitating disease so easily mocked by politics. I'm sure the guy wants a cure...not just for everyone in the future, but for himself! I mean, i have MS and i damn well want to see my kids grow up. even if it means researching on embryos. Why is that embryo more important than already existing life? I mean honestly, if you had to choose between a bus hitting your mom, or rolling over a petree dish...you gonna pick the dish? I don't think so!
Anyone who watches Fox for any other reason except to laugh should have their TV smashed...might as well watch the 700 club. birdsnake whatever the F!@#...What an *** you are for saying Mike admits goin off his meds! Fox news tell you that too?

As you must know by now, Rush was right.
In Fox's book he states how he goes off meds so he can put on a public show.
Democrats don't care anything about Fox, they are just using and exploiting him like they do everyone else.

Mr Fox has been campaigning for years. I don't know why he has been brought as an issue right now. Or why he wasn't brought up as an issue in the earlier elections, for that matter.

I certainly would go out of my way to give poor Michael a hug, though in a manly heterosexual way of course. ;)

I don't think so. That would be big news and I haven't heard a thing.

Michael J Fox is just a silly pity card in politics. Nobody wants to see him die. Not republicans not anybody. Its ignorance that keeps this style of garbage politics running, and people like you that feed into it. Know your leaders, don't just sit and watch lousy add campaigns.

I really like MJF and I think it's tragic to see him afflicted with such a debilitating disease at such a young age.

I don't blame him, he's the perfect poster child for stem cell research.

I hate the liberal lies about embrionic stem cell research, I hate that you can't just be honest about the same value available in the umbilical cord and placenta.

I hate the liberal agenda that is willing to exploit such a terrible tragedy.

Why? I'm a republican, and really, i don't really care about that guy. Rush was never making fun of him, (at least not him personally) he was pointing out that it was a low tactic for advancement of a political agenda.

Republicans do this too, however, look at all the political ads on TV. They're terrible! Don't vote for that guy, because he will destroy the nation!, Don't vote for that guy becuase he drank alcohol once!

To all you political ad makers: Tell me why I should vote for your guy, not why I shouldn't vote for the other guy.
