The palmos was designed so that you could get anywhere within 2-3 taps. Windows Mobile is a bit more complex than that. Also, at this time there are more programs available for the palmos than for the windows client. The palmos does lack certain advances in features which the windows client does have. Though this should be resolved within the next few years now that the software is owned by Access and will be made into a linux platform.

Palm, as a PDA that is to be used without hands fumbling around it works better, besides some people say Windows Mobile is more familiar although in my view other than the name Windows, its entire interface is more alienating to desktops then Palm's.

If youre very familiar to windows and that you use your pda mostly for work,I suggest you Windows mobile.
If you want to download thousands of software on your pda and that you want something easy to use then choose Palm OS.
I prefer Palm OS rather than Windows Mobile.

I would say Windows because the software is more common and widely available.
