It's only wrong if you blame the stranger in front of a group of people and the stranger is still there. And only if you point and say, "Gosh you stink".

Funny story. I was on an elevator one time, and instead of going down like I wanted, it went up to the top of the building, and then filled with people who were all going to the first floor. Without warning, I had one sneak up on me and rip loose. Everyone knew it was me. The only thing I could do was smile, take a deep whiff and say, "Ahhh!" They all got off at the next floor.

Haven't we all done that at some point? In a crowded room, with one group of people and looking meaningfully at some complete stranger that could have dealt it and trying to look as innocent as possible? Be honest now...

Of course - unless he or she squeezes your abdomen, no one else can have the slightest influence on your wind passages...!
