how do i know if i have a 8MB 3D video card without opening my comp up? can windows tell if i have one or not? configurations are
intel celeron CPU 1.7 ghz 224 mb ram...pls help im not the computer guy

All you need to do is get your video card's manufacturer name and model. Then you can visit the manufacturer's web site to get the video card specifications.

Right click an empty part on the desktop and click Properties. Click the settings tab and you should see what you need under the line that says 'Display.' If not, click the Advanced button and one of the tabs should be for your video card driver.

Go to Control Panel, Systems, Hardware, Devie Manager

scroll down till the Video and Sound Cards righ click and properties

or just right click on My Computer and then click Properties

HI.

goto Start Menu -Select Run & type" Dxdiag" then press OK then select "Display tab" now u can see the properties of ur video card.

in addition to that u can see other informations of ur computer by selecting other Tabs as well (if u have any prob. send me a message )
