Anything's possible, but certain studies already done on this matter (for other than astrological reasons) have shown a slight *tilt* above the 8.3% assumed average for births in March & April in the Northern Hemisphere ... a "slight" tilt in the average, mind you. Most likely has to do with the light & heat of early/middle summer.
Births in the second half of September are also slightly above average (Christmas and New Years season!)

One out of every 12 people should be, on an average, belonging to each sunsign. So if there are 100 people in this world, it should be 100 * 1 / 12 people per sign, which works out to about 8.33.
That is a roundabout way to just say the answer is 8.33% :)

1/12 of the worlds population belongs to a particular Sun Sign However, 1/30 belong to Moon Sign since Sun's transition is 30 days yet Moon transits in 2 1/2 days from one sign to another. I do'nt know about tyhe world, for India it about 35 millon belong a each of the Moon Signs.
