Spend it? Keep it? Turn it over to authorities? Give it away? Walk by and not pick it up? What?

Serveral years ago, I was leaving a pizza parlor and somehow dropped my wallet on the sidewalk. When I realized I had lost it, I turned back to try to find it. A man and his little boy approached me and asked me if I had lost anything, and I said, "Yes, my wallet." The man said, "My little boy recognized you from your driver's license photo. Here is your wallet." I gave the little boy all the cash in my wallet as a reward. Sometimes, human nature can make you smile.

I just might leave it. I wouldn't know where it came from. The amount cannot be easily determined... a shopping bag would mean there's a lot of money in there. What if it actually came from a bank robbery? In fact, it's easier to live guilt-free. I'd leave it.

It would depend on where I found it. I have heard of eccentric people not keeping their money in a bank, so I would call the authorities to see if anything was reported missing. Then after a couple of weeks....well I DO have a wedding to finance....Plus some of it would go to my family and some to the Wildlife center

I had a dream I was stuffing my pockets with one hundred dollar bills last night! The best thing to do would be to turn it because my big mouth would tell the wrong person about my find.

Take it, give a random call to the authorities to see if you'd get in trouble if the money was ever traced to a crime, then make the decision based on that!

take it and keep all the money...no innocent or law abiding citizen person carries so much money in a carrier bag like that...it must have come from drug dealing or something like that...

Plus, when was the last time, you lost something valuable and good samaritan came to return it to you?

I'd inquire if anyone lost a shopping bag with nothing in it.
